Paintings

From design work in the 1970s until the present Ken has an interest in creating visual arts and ceramics.

He won a schools Norther Architectural Art Competition in 1967, with further wins in the following year. Academically he took a science route through his school career. But in the Lower VIth form there was an opportunity to do a practical Art O’Level within a year and he lapped up this experience.

At university he was called upon to create graphic designs for posters. And in the late ’80s he started to paint water colour sketches, mostly on holiday, a habit that has continued.
